Loads of people have said there is a certain 2.0 Cavalier or Mondeo master cylinder that is a direct replacement for the pathetic Corsa item but I've never seen a definitive answer as to which model/partnumber etc. is required? Does anyone actually know or is it all just a bit of 'pub talk'?

i "personally" wouldn't bother doing it...

cav one can be made to fit, with a bit of modding, to a nova - so guess it would be the same for a corsa

The Nova is different, the master cylinder is round the right way, in the Corsa it sits on its back.

It will make a massive difference to the brake feel.. The slave cylinders on the V6 calipers are WAY to big for the pathetic Corsa master cylinder.

i know that, but they fitting's the same iirc, heard people use corsa one's on nova's in the standard nova place..

so modding should be similar etc etc

The master cylinder may fit the same but the reservior is arse about face on the Corsa, its not like the Nova where it doesnt matter because it sits on the builk head, in the Corsa it seats up in the scuttle.
