Any pictures of any X14XE/X16XE engine bays, modified, ie coloured pipes etc, want to make mine look nice

i dont think many people have done it, id say take off the ecotec plastic cover and get your rocker cover powdercoated a crazy colour and get a silicone hose kit.


if u get your rocker cover powdercoated then make sure you clean the underside of it after its been done because if there is overspray it blocks the oil pump and fucks your engine dude....

strut brace
carbon incution kit <--- enclosed
oil cap
get it steam cleaned
and get new jubele clips for all round

there are quite a few pics of those engines all blinged up.
never heard of powder coating blocking the oil pump before

powder coating is not the same as sand blasting though.

aren't yous thinking of sand blasting, as i know sand blasting is a no no as if you clean it to death there is still usually sand still hiding in there.

I think Fad was the sand yes, but Nic's was definitely powdercoat that peeled.

Paint all caps the same colour, I did on my Ibiza bay and it looks smart.

Did oil, coolant, brake, washer fluid, power steering caps and the dipstick handle all matt black

thought i'd put a couple of mine up, i haven't got colourfull pipes or anything, i think the x14/16xe looks with all that air con and recirculator naff taken out
