standard they do 0-60 in about 8.5 secs i think, top end about 120ish.
Impressive when u first drive one i must say....

Standard is 0-60 in 9 sec approx.
top speed about 115-125.
Mines is running 118bhp from 106bhp standard. Not sure on times now..Not that much diff
I would think, Slightly quicker maybe.
This is when it's running well though, a bit sick at moment

hey mav, my 1.6 Sport is running really rubbish too at the moment. When its idling, i can hear the engine note rise and fall very sharply, like their is a mixture problem.

Mine does 0-60 in 12 seconds and kangeroos serious fueling problem, when its running right i cannot get it above 110, only since me 17's though

Cyber mine is going in today for a lambda sensor and maybe an idle control valve.
Getting oil/filter flush etc when there.
Are your emissions high and using alot of fuel?? mines is and garage put that done to
sensor. Revs rise and fall..Cutting out and struggle to restart as plugs getting flooded
as too much fuel being pumped through..
Hopefully fixed today though....
greasemonkey on my 1.6 had it well past 110 with 17's..Not really noticed a difference with my
17's.Usually notice on smaller engine cars....Alot faster than 12 or 10 secs to 60 too..I would get it
checked out m8..

i seem to be getting some crazy mileage out of a tank for some reason. I filled up with Opticrap, and nearly 330 miles later it was in the red. I drive fairly hard some times too. The oil is very old so it needs changing ASAP, thanks to vauxhall telling me they did an oil change before i bought it at christmas, but really the oil hasnt been changed since 2000. I wonder how much damage its had from this. I get no problems starting, just when its idling its a little lumpy. Might get down to vaux and tell them that warranty is still valid!

mmm, my 1400 16v ecotec does around 250 miles to a ful tank, its dead when you put your foot down till 3k rpm, then picks up, also stalls sometimes if i dont rev it hard! prob the k and n i reckon!

You told that oil story about 2 weeks ago, AND YOU STILL HAVENT CHANGED IT????????????
With my 121 bhp 1.4 16v I do about 10p a mile, thats not taking it easy either!

C16XE for those that asked, factory stats are
110lb ft torque
109bhp
0-60 = 8.9
121mph
X16XE has only 108lb ft torque

Thats wrong the eco tec engine has 1lb ft of torque more than the CX strange in it yet bhp is higher on the cx
