For a motorised tv headunit which is better.
i need it to have=
# face off for security reasons.
# 3 more rca's.
#pre outs.
#av inputs and outputs.
#remote control.
#fully motorized screen.
#link to cd changer and mp3.
#sat nav is an option but not of key importance.
#bass and treble control.
#mini disc,radio,cd and mp3 compatable.
i have a couple of options such as
alpine cva 1003R/cva 1005R.
kenwood kvt-m700(touch screen)
pioneer avh-p6400R.
clarion vrx 928 rdv.
which will be better and which manufacture/brand do you recomend.
any other similar head units that u can think of are good.
suggestions please

I would HONESTLY recommend the Clarion, its the nuts. The only reason i didnt get it is i got an alpine for a bargain price. The clarion is also touch screen .
Those Alpines youve listed only have a single pre-out and only 2volts. However, halfords are currently selling their ex-display models for £600. There was a discount day on sunday and a bloke from work bought ours for £458.99.
You're local one should be able to find one for you though.

Check out my auction on Ebay. I'm selling an Alpine 1003 in pristine condition. I used it for a month and loved it, but use mini disc more than anything else, so am selling it. Starts at £450.
U2U me if u aren't on Ebay but wanna make an offer.
Cheers
James

Alpine mate. Dont like touch screen - you end up with greasey prints all over the screen and i just think touch screen is more annoying than buttons, call me old fashioned lol

The Audiobahn ones are just the same as the alpine ones, There are 3 different models. Actually there better, I have heard the only demo one in the UK which the guy that imports Audiobahn to the UK has in his car. If u want one I might b able to get u one but don't know a price yet but u'll b best of ordering one from the states and have it imported ur self. try www.thezeb.com
