I've managed to be able to get back in to gym work now.

Last time I was gyming it was NOV and since then ain't been able too (loss of job and neck probs again)

But can start going again.

I tend to favour alot of weight resistance training and heavy lifting and want to get back to the standard i was in nov.

But would it be best too:-

Go easy and break back into it
Or
Try and push from the start?

Personally i'd say take easy and start building up again but want to hear other opinions and advice

Diet wise it tends to be mainly chicken or fish and at times potatoes which not much as carbs are my enemy ATM!

take it easy for a week or so, then start throwing in the heavier movements.

you should have retained some positive muscle memory from when you were last training anyhow.
