My mates doing one and is convinced standard Corsa mounts are fine and the cav driveshafts will work fine and it'll just slot in and be fine and dandy.
I'm convinced he needs a new engine mount, change the shafts (inner one outer the other but canna remember which way round) and god knows what else? MPI fuel pump etc?
Just thought I'd ask for WHEN he hits problems

Well im not 100% familiar with this conversion in fairness, but im sure the likes of Courtney and regal sell a 2.0 8V conversion kit so yes would imagine new mounts, maybe 1.8 cav shafts.
Hope you put him in his place

what's the existing engine?
would guess he'd need shafts. The mounts may be ok tbf to him, they are for fitting 16xe's into 1.2s etc, but don't have a clue here.
