Well, I went to local scrappy yeterday and there they were... A set of depos, I was well happy lol. Got them for £20!
So just fit them last night, gonna smoke them but they look better even not smoked for now!
My standard lights didn't have the hexagon type thing inside and were mega bright with super brilliance blue bulbs in.
The depos do have the hexagon thing which sends all the light back to the mirror and they aren.t as bright.
Is it advisable to remove them when I smoke them or what??
Cheers Carl..

What hexagon thing are you talking about too? The beam diffuser?!
Depos are just a make of headlight mate - they made black ones too though, standard ones aren't anything special at all...

Not just standard lights, cheepo one's Depo are like a spurious light making company.
Split em, smoke em, de-tango em, leave the headlight thing in ur on about.

Yeah they're standard atm. Lol, but as I said, I'm gonna smoke them, and take orange out of indicator.
And yes the diffusers. How come my Valeo ones didn't have them in and the Depos do?

Place them in the oven, not at a daft high temp, about 70-80degrees c is ok i think? I did mine at work in the oven we use for cars that have just been painted. for about 5 mins, then take off the metal clips around the glass, and gently prise the glass with a flat screwdriver.

I know what hexagon thing your talking about in the Deop's. It covers the bulb (And makes them not as bright as Valeos) Try removing it and report back lol

The Depos that you have split alot easier than Valeos(which are nigh on impossible).
Use a hairdryer to soften the glue and take your time and youl be fine.

What is the best way to re-seal them?? What have people used? Or do you just re heat the existing glue?
