No audience laughter, dodgy camera angles and the jokes just didn't flow right...
Also it said after the start 9 years later.. Later than what?series 6?

Too cgi'd if you get what I mean, dodgy looking sets and props made that show what it was.

Dissapointed tbh I suppose it will not ever be like is used to be, I liked the crap studio laughter and the poor effects and the rubbish monsters chasing them about.
Not the same.

I said to the Missus just before it started 'this is either going to be Epic or utter shite'
Ten minutes in we agreed it was worse than utter shite

Wasn't as bad as i was expecting tbh, there were a few laughs.
Agree with the poor effects etc... the cgi was shit though, so at least they had shit cgi, instead of shit props.
They even CGI'd the scutters, surely there's still a working one or two around

Watched it. Wasn't close to as good and stupid as the old ones and as said, they could have found or built a scutter, it wasn't amazingly bad though.
I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the rest.

bit serious and lacked the canned laughter, weird with all the silence.

Agree with that, i usually hate canned laughter, but it worked well on the old ones, was strange watching it without
