i just scrapped one from an astra. was nothing wrong with it just in the way

I have one.It may have some Bent Valves though,Although i havent checked yet.Let me know if your Intrested.

are 1.6 16v heads the same? i didnt think they were....

Yes X14 & X16 Are the same,Although the C16 Is slightly diffrent as it has Bigger Ports

and thatnks for the offer but i already have on with bent valves, just thought someone might have a good one for cheap save me doing valves

yep all the same. all interhangable between x14xe/x16xe/c16xe/x16xel.

for performance you will be wanting a late mk4 astra x16xel head (triangular shape ports)

i have a good x14xe head here ready to fit can do around £60 inc P&P

corsa one had been done 10k ago, think it was a pully that failed, but dosnt mension pully's/tensioners in the service book

live and learn....

but if that offer of help is serious id welcome you to come and get stuck in, ill need every bit of help i can get lol
