just wanna maken sure before i spend my money.

I'm after an amp purley to power a sub. If a get one with a low-pass filter/crossover, its gonna take the bass out my spekers so i get no distortion.

Am i right or got the wrong end of the stick?

yes a lowpass filter will only allow low frequencies to reach the sub so all u get is bass!!

Most if not all Monoblocks run a digital signal which is somehow better. Put it this way I was running my DB audio raptors of a bridged channel on my Audiobahn Class A/B mofset amp, I have just recently wired in a MTX audio Class D monoblock. Now both were putting out exaclty the same power but the Monoblock runs a clearer bassline and louder.. So i would reckomend a Class D monoblock.
