Exactly what i was thinking, yes the guy was pushed to the floor, but he got his hands out in time to cushion the fall, and then managed to sit there moaning about it
if he was hit with the baton, it was around his legs from what i can remember from the video, i can't see that causing internal bleeding.

Some member of his family was on the news there, exactly the same as usual, it's always the dodgy looking wierdos that things happen to and they are always innocent.
More pictures on the news as well, more riot police have had to move him on at a different point.
Exactly the same every time, same as all the people that have never done anything in their life, just got caught out that one time.

wish people wouldnt keep saying 'police' as if all are the same, anyone with any knowledge of police training would know that the MET are giving entirely different riot training to the other forces in the counrty. Most are told to disperse crowds, MET are told to box them in until they get sick and submit, or go into a frenzy then are taken down. I know several coppers from Durham/northumbria who went down to deal with this, and they said what an absolute arse on the whole thing was, people thinking they were clever, taking the piss and abusing police who are, tbf, just there doing their job.
G20 all over the news, copper involved in the car accident all over the news, but very little mention of the copper last week who was beaten to death by a gang when on duty. hmmm.

yeah I'm sure what happened in London during G20 was just the stupid MET and not the police force as a whole but really does worry you.
I was a few hundred metres from the riots that day and we saw the police being heavy handed from the word go, its funny how we never go to see all this information/pictures/videos during the day with all the news crews covering the event. The indy/tree hugging media were saying online that a media blackout was in force and it was their duty to report what was actually happening, looks like they were right to an extent.
