Whats the m.o.t law for having no rear seats
Do i need to remove all the rear seatbelts for it to pass ?

Yeah both seats and seatbelt attachments etc

can leave belts in as there not seat belts if there isnt any seats

Technically, if your V5 says 5 seats, then it needs to have 5 seatbelts fitted. You should really send off your log book to be updated to be a 2 seater.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

i'll ring the dvla up and go to garage to get a 100% answer as i've just stripped my rear and doorcards lol

mine past with no rear seatsm just had advisery of not being able to check rear seats at time of test

I put mine in for the test with just two seats, but it failed because the passenger seat was broken. I then took it back with just the drivers seat in and it passed with flying colours
