Hey All,
I recently changed the lights on my speedo (with rev counter) on my Corsa B. This was done over the weekend and wasn't an issue, all seemed to go well. This week I have noticed that when I start the engine, the rev counter stays on 0 for a while. After some revs/driving (could be as soon as I pull off, or after an entire 3mile journey) the counter moves. There are no warning lights, no issues with the car elsewhere. I wondering if I have been a muppet and put it back together "dodgily" but I've checked everything and it seems ok. Only other thing I can think of is due to the needles. The needles have had their colour changed so they stood out on white dials, wondering if the colourant I used has perhaps gone tacky and causes the needle to stick to the needle stop (bit extreme).
Wondered if anyone else has seen this before? I will remove everything and put it all back, inspecting the needles before I do. But in the meantime any other ideas would be awesome!
Thanks
Tom
