when i press the accelerator pedle nothing happens till my foot is around half way down, which prove a pain in the ass when changin gears and gettin back on the accelorator. is this just the cable or somehing else ?? cheers

Adjust the tension with the clip that mounts to the throttle body.

It sounds like it's too slack.
