If no one had bid I'll leave it to the last minute, no point bidding with hours left to go as it will probably bump the price up without needing to.

Last 10 seconds whether there's bids or not, you get some people that won't put their full bid until there seems to be other interest so they put 3/4 of their bid in, see there's no interest then bang out bid with 3 seconds to go, nothing they can do about it

I think of how much i would honestly want to pay for it say £50 then id add 87p then type it in the bid box then press bid when the auction has 10 seconds left then confirm it then no one can place a higher bid as it takes too long
Wins every time unless some one does it with a higher amount. If you bid before that then your wasting money as others will expect it and beat you.

i do it in the last secs with obscure numbers
one thing most people dont do it bid there maximum once. you gotta think of the most youd ever pay and put that on last 20 secs or so

i tend to open a few windows when its in the last minute, and have different amounts ready to bid, then use the 1st one, if you get outbid, bang on the 2nd,3rd,4th etc
if its something that i really want then i'll still leave it till the last minute then stick on a good bid.
