Thats only idiots that have put HID upgrade's into headlights designed for halogen bulbs, with no self levelers, and no washers. I have factory HID's and they dont blind people infront of me as they point downwards just like any dipped lights. When people put the HID upgrades into halogen light units, the disperse pattern is wrong for the HID thus light goes the "wrong way" out of the headlight unit and blind others.
Fogs on when foggy. never any other time.

I only drive with sides and fogs when it getting dark and then switch to headlights only.
I seriously hate it when people have their sidelights and their fog lights on -just WHY?
A week or two ago I saw someone with their headlights and fog lights on, at 8am in the morning It was a sunny day as well!
Someone I used to work with has them on ALL the time in his Saxo, he said people are always flashing him (including me, lolz) but he can't work out why..
People need their heads looking at.

What's the point in that though? My fog lights don't offend nobody. They aren't bright at all!

I don't have them on cept when foggy.
People that use them all the time in the dry don't really bother me. It's when it's wet and the light refelcts off the wet road surface it annoys me.

Have you got sidelight bulbs in the foglamps, or the standard H7's?

Old school thread, love it
I use my front ones when its foggy or when im on really dark roads like country lanes with no street lights as the normal headlights dont seem to light up the side of the road too well. Back one again for when its foggy or crap visibility like loads of spray on a wet motorway.

Foggys are handy for lighting up the sides of the road on a pitch black B road. If I have them on at a time like that I switch them off if a car's coming the other way.
And I blind any daft wanker that drives about with them on if they're blinding me.
