Nope, you need the HD mix for to recieve HD channels. An extra £10 a month.

No you don't, you get the freesat HD channels if you only use a sky freesat card.

I just checked my sky+ card in the HD box, works exactly as I expected, you get bbc hd and channel 4 hd and all the free ones.

You will also be able to get ITV HD once you get the new planner (google on how to add it)

So if i bought a HD PVR then i could replace my sky+ box and i will then recieve the (free to air/freesat) HD channels free of charge?

You'd get the free to air HD channels with any HD box.
