The fitting looks ok on the end.

Alternatively I can fit a full Calibra cable

i used one before with no trouble, but if you have the right one you might as well use it

i think it will be too short as im sure they mount in different places.

iirc my gsi cable was shorter than the cally cable

Does it attach to the pedal the same on the Corsa? If so I can't see it being a problem!
