when you don't tell the whole tale it makes it sound like our admin are cunts.
what happened was the old search function was garbage so they took it away completely whilst they work on improving it. when they came up with the new version they gave it to preems only but it is still only the beta version. we still only get 1 page of results.

one way round it for you would be to make another thread with the key words that were in the thread you are looking for. you should then see related threads at the bottom of the page and hopefully the thread you were looking for. it doesn't always work but it's worth a shot. oh and make sure you delete the thread you just made afterwards.

That's a shame, you have a great forum going but you cant search it for great information............huh !
Come on you webmasters push the barrier, surely if its easier for people to use it then you will get even more people wanting to use it :-D

how many other sites have staff who put in so much effort to developing the site and the software instead of using generic pish that throws up some random threads
it will just take a bit of time to get right

I don't fancy giving away 12 quid of my hard earned cash for a shit sounding search function
Good site and everything, and I would be premium if it was a fiver. But if I'm going to be spending £10+ on a forum membership it'll be with MIG so I can get a vaux trade card.
