started work at around half 12 and finished at 6, got quite a lot done as you can see in the pics. plan was to get it done over the weekend but seen as im going out tonight i doubt ill up to doing much tomorrow.
anyway all thats left to do is take the mirrors off and change the drivers door then its going to get painted on tuesday.
while its gettin sprayed ill be stripping the engine down and rebuilding it.























this is my spare block which i may be using depending on what condition mine is in


iv got a load more parts at home, mainly the rebuild bits for the engine which are, oil pump, water pump, cambelt kit, headgasket set and bolts, bottom end gasket set, mains shells, big end shells, clutch, arp rod bolts and prob loads more iv forgot about
Spec when all put together will be
Engine:
complete rebuild inc rings, mains and big end shells, oil and water pump, 16 new lifters, full gasket set cambelt kit etc
arp rod bolts
ported and polished head
inlet and exhaust manifold ports matched to head
piper bp285 cams
mantzel copy inlet manifold with v6 throttle body
4-1 exhaust manifold with 2 1/4" system
once its run in ill be getting it mapped and also rev limit raised to 8500rpm

body:
full respray
chassis strenghtening kit
strengthened lower arms
60mm spax shocks and springs
omp front upper strut brace
sparco front lower brace
2.0 16v front brakes (rear discs when i get all the parts together)

transmission:
quickshift gear linkage
quaife lsd
f13 close ratio gearbox
lightened and balanced 5kg flywheel with paddle clutch
15" wheels to keep decent acceleration and to fit over the brakes

Why a V6 throttle body ?

bigger diameter, iv got a standard one on the inlet at the moment but all being well ill have the v6 one fitted

Yeah ive got a standard one on mine. I might look into going to a v6 body, if it makes any difference!

no lol, its from a r32gtr, iv actually got a decompression plate but decided against turbo'ing

not really in a rush, i wont be getting my new head for another 3 or 4 weeks anyway.
the bottom end will be painted and built up next week

few new pics, got most of the parts to get it built now just waiting for the head. the bottom ends built up now and everything seems good.

been a while since a update due to moving house and other things. the engines in and been run in now, heres a few pics:











should be fitting the kyb agx front suspension setup in the next week and putting my new brakes on so ill keep this updated

another small update, finally fitted my front brakes which iv had for nearly a year lol, also fitted my bilstein springs and the kyb agx front shockers




iv not driven it yet so hopefully the suspension will settle. my next plan was to get some new wheels, either softstars or speedlines but they may have to wait as iv got these now

so as soon as iv got some verniers and aftermarket management these will be on
