my car doing my head in when i put it in reverse the sortshift thing pops out its never done it before only recentley. its a redtop corsa were the ball on the short shift hocks over the hoop on the bar that leads to the gearshift bar i know i dont make much sense but hope u know what im on about cause dont fancy driving to pod when it does this

yes a plastic bush then the ring bit of your linkage goes over that and is held on by a circlip

Mine popped off a few times going into 5th! I had to add a slight bend to it and seemed to sort it!

Was just too far going across to 5th and was pulling it off the ball joint!
