Hi, I no this should really b in the ice and ellectrics board, but no 1 replied there, so ive moved it here.
I have std ice in my car at the mo, im wanting to upgarde, was thinking of getting:

if ur on a budget but want some quality, get the GTx663, my dad got em in his Merc and they are pretty tidy.

will these be ok to fit (i have adaptors, so thats no prob, its the depth im thinking about, 55mm?

im not sure whether the adaptors will allow that size speaker. I think the fronts can be 130mm or 165mm im not totally sure. Yeh the mounting depth seems fine.

well on the packet they say 130mm, but i have a set of 130 sony spkrs and there way too small for the plates (at least 1 or 2 cm) So i think 165's will fit with a bit of triming, but ill check later!

the adaptors will take 150mm speakers, they say the r for 130, but 130 speakers dont fit, the diameter from screw hole to screw hole is 150mm, what spkr size will i get? as blaupunkt spkrs go from 130mm, them jump up to 160mm

I think the 160mm should fit, im sure thats what mine are and they fit!!!!!

yeah i did a search and think my plates (2nd hand) dont have the collars for 130mm speakers so the 165mm ones may fit, if not ill buy new plates
