I know i dont post much on here and im not one of the 'in' crowd but im looking for as much sponsership as i can possibly get please.
On Sun 20th September 2009 i am going to be running 13.1 miles in the famous 'Great North Run' from Newcastle to South Shields.
I am trying to raise a minimum of £350 towards the Rainbows Children's Hospice in Loughborough. Children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions come to the Hospice for specialist respite stays, symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care. Their families, too, are supported and helped by Rainbows on their difficult journey.
At Rainbows the emphasis is on enriching life and making each minute of each short life count.
Each child is treated as an individual and helped by the skilled, experienced team to get the most from life and enjoy it to the full.
All of the money raised will go straight to the charity, none of it will be used to fund the trip itself (I've done that).
To read about the Hospice their website is: http://www.rainbows.co.uk
To donate please follow this link: http://www.justgiving.com/richardworrall
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rainbows Children's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now, even the smallest amount would be gratefully received.
Thankyou very much

My dad did this a couple of years back for diabetes research. Fair play to you and best of luck.
