Well, dunno how many of you read my other topic, but my car is knakered - engine gone!
So now, im considering breaking it to make a bit of money for a new run about! So just gauging interest really, and as most bits would be pick up only, was wondering if any of you lot are interested in anything?
Its a Brocade Yellow 1.4 Sport, got a full exhaust, including a pretty much brand new janspeed 4-2-1 and piper de-cat.
Silver angel eyes
Badgeless grill
Some Carbon Fibre engine trim
Full sports interior, one fag burn on drivers seat, but no usual bolster rips or anything
GSI wheels with good tyres all round
My Wolfrace wheels are also up for grabs - fantastically good tyres all round on them!
BMC CDA
2.0ltr Brakes painted red
Any other bits that you can think of really!

Anyway, let me know if you fancy anything, u2u with offers and stuff, and if I can get a bit of interest together, then im gonna strip it!

Cheers,
Kris

Typical, as soon as I say im breaking it, I get progress with finding a new engine!
Sorry Dean, but I want to get it fixed up as cheap as possible, and get rid of it!
Time for a new car!

No idea what im gonna get though, wont be anything special at all! And i will only have like £1500! haha
Either find myself a bargain, or a complete pile of junk!

Go for a 1.6 corsasport It counts as a new car if it's got a new/replacement engine

But if you do break how much for the BMC intake?

Haha, it really is tempting to be fair! But there is bound to be other things wrong with my car, so it could be the start of a long list of things I have to fix!
Will miss the Corsa though!

Ive got a bit of a craving for a big engined turbo diesel! Drove my dads 1.9td octavia, and it dont half shift! Low insurance groups too!
So doubt that I will be getting another corsa

And not really sure how much I want for CDA, £150 new arent they? £70? U2u me anyway, sure we can sort summin out!

I was feeling the same with my B, everything just seemed to be going wrong, in owning it I had a new clutch, new alternator, new big end bearing, new sump, - spent hundreds on the thing in the end and just gave up, bought my C and apart from having the ECU done on warranty touch wood it's been faultless, but I do really miss the character of my B and would honestly buy it back lol, sad I know!

I'm a big fan of anything with a turbo diesel, the 1.9 vag engine tunes well doesn't it?

Yeah, thats what im feeling like with the corsa to be fair, as it was only a few months ago that I spent almost £600 getting the headgasket, cambelt and tensioners done!
Which is now a complete waste of money!
And the clutch is on its way out! haha
So cant wait to get rid of it!

I was thinking that a td car will be a pretty safe option for a while! Might not be the most exciting of things, but I will see what I can do with it when I get it!

And I wont have much to spend, so doubt that a tidy vag engine would be in my price range, but you never know!

Put a honda civic 1.6 in. Granted cost about £2500 but 160/170BHP standard and forged internals
