Parents have bought me a DVD recorder for my birthday. What are the best discs to use? This thing will read and record onto all kinds but i'm unsure what discs to use!

Means i can now transfer some of the stuff i have on Sky+ onto DVD to share with my sister etc. Not had a DVD player for over a year now either

Any ones.

The only differences are write once, rewrite or ram, normal dvd players can't read ram discs so depends if you want it permanently or not.

Write once are pennies so i'd just go for them.

Doesn't make one bit of difference, what ever is cheapest.

Record on whichever ones all other DVD players in your house play, if you have an older player somewhere might only play DVD-R and vice versa. As John said there is no real difference otherwise

edit - thought you had Sky+ though Andrew?
