Put it on a mini cycle, 2 shirts and a pair of trousers in there so not overloaded, goes through everything, nothing sounds odd, I open the door and a smokey/dusty haze comes out as Im pulling my stuff out

Can I assume its dead and not really safe to turn back on again? Typical Beko shit, warranty ran out less than a month ago

Down to Tesco for a new one

Kirstys mum's washing machine gave up, her dad and I hitched his trailer to his 106,drove down to Tesco and picked up a new one before she could even get onto the service helpline

Not sure about a ton? Me and my dad lifted it no problem into the van, the heaviest part is the glass door at the front, like an old telly from the 90's

I rang the engineer and he said apparently i hadnt put enough stuff in so it couldnt load balance, so friction burning the rubber seal with the drum, he said try it again with more clothes in this time, fingers crossed it doesnt ruin my work uniform for later

when the gf gets new clothes, she will only put one item in the machine on a half load setting and it will work fine!

Though typical of it going pop when the warrenty had run out!

There's a concrete block in them hanging off a spring to counter balance the load as it spins. So it's pretty heavy!
