i bought the car about 2 weeks ago a bog standard 1.4 16v sport





ive since fitted a set of 15" BBS wheels off a mk 2 golf gti and lowered it 60mm on fk coilovers

ive also debadged the boot and doors and took the side strips off

got some german style pressed plates that are here just need putting on

here is it now as it stands:

those wheels look like cavaleir /carlton diamond ones imo look well nice though especially painted white

yer there the bbs ones off a golf as he said, the guy who bought lukeDs corsa put them on that aswell..

im not sure what profile tyre they are but they will b getting a smaller one on defiantly.
jus a few issues with rubbing ect now so i need to find out how to stop that

the plans are
10mm drop on the front
paint bbs white with different center caps i was thinking four suites of a deck of cards
a nice tidy boot build
and i wana do something with my bonnet ive got a tattoo that sums me up in 3 words so i want that incorporating some how. ive asked for a photo shop done of it so ill see how it looks

cool, whats the size of the BBS's? 15" x 6j? and the offset of et33 or et35 ish?

need to do some arch work but m not sure how to go about it

ah i see, i'm running 15x6.5j's with an et of 33.
Found that if you use 185/45/15 tyres you'll get away with a -60mm drop and no scrubbing issues (i'm using Fk coilovers aswell) .. mines a 5door though so i'm only assuming it would be the same for a 3door.

As for arch work you could pull out the metal arch a tad to give a few mm clearance or cut it & remove the bolts that hold the arch trims on (bond them on using tigreseal).. but personally i think some narrower lower profile tyres (185's or 165's) would sort your scrubbing problem as at et35 youll have a few more mm clearance compared with mine.
