people who use flickr uploader.... do you find it takes forever to upload a batch of pictures? im trying to upload my pvs pictures and its on 41% complete i started uploading them around 10am

depends if your putting huge pics up, I resize all mine to 1024 at the largest side before I upload them, thats plenty big enough

if they are full res they will take ages

I dont, do them 1 by 1, its tedious I know but I normally tweek them anyway so its only a few extra clicks

if your using xp, there's a mass re-sizer from microsoft iirc.

Couldn't find a decent one for Vista tho, because i was looking to do a load recently, did them 1 by 1 in PS in the end

Create an action and then it's a one button resize.

or batch resize a whole folder.

irfan viewer...

file, batch conversion/rename, use advanced options, then can change them on there i think. Can choose the longest or shortest side etc, then add the pics on there, and go.

you didnt find the advanced settings on that menu?

Use advanced options (for bulk resize...)

yeh i found advanced settings ticked the box,then clicked advanced, what do i click then?. RESIZE and change the hight?

Yeah, you were pretty much right, i chose the set longest side to... and went for 1024 (should sort the other side to 768)
