i know a few of you chaps play it online
Just wanted some tips! Im level 53 now but i still get a royal bumming in 85% of the matches 
I just cant figure out the way that people managed 30+kills and hardly any deaths
Highest ive ever got was 18k 7deaths on TDM But that lobby closed, entered on on MTDM 5mins later and got 1kill 17deaths  i didnt do anything different, same weapons etc.
Tips welcome

Play against Jas. He is an easy target.

ok
I mainly use stg44/mp40/m1 and just got the russian machine gun that has a rapid fire rate (name escapes me)
Ive noticed on kill cam that theres zero recoil on peoples mp40s but mines all over the fucking place is it an upgrade?

Dont just pull the trigger and keep holding it.
Feather the trigger and you will get next to no recoil 
My normal set up for team death match is
MP40
Bouncing bettys
Stopping power
Deep impact
Can normally take people out fairly easily with that set up even on standard team death matches.
For Hardcore games I use:
STG-44
No radar perk
lots of running perk

I must admit knowing the map helps enormously. Dome/knee deep/makin/upheavel/outskirts i do ok in. Station airfield etc i just get raped!
I didnt realise the trigger was that sensitive, thought it was on/off.
I use mp40+aperture sight
Bettys
Stopping power
Double tap
Trouble with bettys is i go to place one somebody runs in, shoots before i draw my gun, or i die so fast the bettys dissapear
Im always finding an opponent, just as i press fire... Blam shot in the back.
Im nae bad at long range grenade fatalaties tho
Growing to love the nightfire level which i hated at first. Getting better at driving Tanks and killing people with my garand too, want to do the challenges so i get a scope, just unlocked the bayonet

As said, holding down the fire button will make it go nuts. Burst fire is much easier to handle and far more accurate. One thing most of my opponents do wrong is sprint into a room, and by the time they try to shoot they are dead. Walk cautiously when going upto doors and rooms, that way you're ready to fire.

yeah i have stopped sprinting anywhere practicly
I try to use burst fire, but they usually manage to run off before the killshot. I get so many assist, just lack kills

Why not go into a couple of Hardcore matches then? That's what I hate about Core. Shoot them a dozen times in the back and they can still run like a coward and hide  In HC none of that shit happens

I carried my COD4 skillz over to WaW.
Kills 23, assists 3, deaths 6.
Followed by:
Kills 20, assists 0, deaths 2.
Best streak of 18, and I'm only level 10.

Eck, i just find in HC that i dont even know where people are shooting me from they are too good. I dont persevere due to time taken between respawns small annoyance but does wind me up.

my best streak of kills is 29, best win streak is 24 and i think my k/d ratio is 1.77 which aint bad for an old man with dodgy eye sight.

I've not actually checked on WaW but my K/D ratio is 5671 Kills and 3155 deaths.
