A couple of weeks ago i bought a magnex 3.5" round backbox to go on my car cos i have just had a new back bumper fitted & the garage man would have had to cut my new bumper for my sebring 6x4.
Anyway i got home & had a quick look at the backbox fitting instructions & it said it was for a 1.4 8v sri (mine is a 1.4 16v sport) so i quickly phoned them up & he said oh its fine it will fit all models of corsa including the 1.6 gsi. Anyway in the end the garage man couldn't fit it so he ended up cutting my new bumper to fit my 6x4 sebring backbox, which i really didn't want him to do but it looks f**king wicked!!
Tonight i took the magnex backbox back to larkspeed in perfect condition & the man was very grumpy cos he was just closing 20 mins early! Then he said oh i won't be able to give you your money back till tomorrow cos ive shut the tills down! Then he did give me my dosh back cos i had paid using my switch card then he told me that he would have to charge me 10% £12 for taking it back cos he had told me 2 weeks ago that it would definetely fit my car! The cheeky B**tard!!
Im never going to a larkspeed again!

altho it was there mistake and shudnt of given u a restocking charge

yeh m8, they fit all models except a 1.0 i no cos iv ad loads of exhausts

larkspeed in clec are wankers tryed tellin my 17 dont fit corsa b's even when mine was parked out side there door on 17s then went down in my mates 2.0 and the said that cant be done u cant fot a 2.0in a corsa they are just clueless there i like to go wind em up there

Oh well never mind. Im not cross anymore & my new back bumper goes really well with my big 6x4 sebring backbox!

When I had my 1.2 16v Corsa I had a Scorpion cat-back s/s system from a Corsa SRi 16v fitted to it, no problems at all. All Corsa exhausts except the 1.0 from the cat back are the same.

I thought there were different bores entering the backbox though, or is it just different sized outlets?

they were good with me when i order koni suspension

phoned me up loads of times to confirm order and price cos there website was wrong :S

then parts arrived in 2 days! they said theyd be a week

Have to say, i use the Larkspeed in Cleck, and apart from them having to order everything in, they are usually very helpfull

Normally go to Storm Motorsport in Bradford (leeds rd) for my stuff though, 99% of the stuff he sell he has in stock

larkspeed are the same as ripspeed, fu**ing useless.
larkspeed told me when i was getting my k&n for my 1 litre corsa, that k&n didnt make an air filter for a 1 litre corsa.
they havent got a clue.
