The transfer of Kaka from Ac Milan to Real Madrid was completed today for a fee reported to be in the regions of £56 Million, what i dont understand is that Real Madrid can spend this amount of money and Plantini will say nothing and if Chelsea, Manchester City or any English club spends this amount of money, he will be going crazy.
He described Robinho move as unacceptable and for stupid amount of money and £56 Million is much more than £32Million. Discrimination?

He needs to get to the root of the problem. I hope he doesn't leaf it to long to sort this out.

Thing is, all the English clubs have branched out into Europe, spoiled the party for all the other big clubs.

Where did the idea of buying players for such amounts stem from?

You can tell that Platini doesn't like the English clubs at times Some of what he is sayin is correct though I mean how the English teams get away with paying obscene amounts of money for players baffles me when collectively all the English Prem teams are in debt of just under £3 billion!

I knew La Liga had lots of debt as well, didn't know it was that much. With the exception of Real Madrid and occasionally Barcelona, La Liga don't spend rediculous amounts of money on players and players wages. £130,000 a week for Gareth Barry is fucking joke! Never heard anything more disgusting in my life tbh!

They're an institution that will never go under so they can live with crippling debt unfortunately. Even in a global recession it seems.

Yeah they have connections with the king of Spain. Pretty shocking really! Thats like the queen having shares in Man Utd and attending all of the games using the tax payers money.

My mate was on Radio 5 Live earlier. He text in with his thoughts about Ronaldo (he is a United fan), and they rang him back to say he was going on air in 15mins. So he rang me up and said, 'What else can I mention?'. So I said, 'Platini'. And he did
It'll be on the Listen again feature on iPlayer. about 10:55am on R5Live.
