just thinking, theres 10,000 odd memebers on here. If we had a raffle i.e £1 or £2 entry fee and a draw then somebody would get a lotta money. Obviously the logistics of it would have to be discussed and sorted out, but as a principle what do people think. Also i think the money should have to be spent on that persons car, with loads of pics along the way on the board. Could be fun. £1 or £2 each is not a lot for the chance to have a great car, and the odds are not actually that bad compared to the lottery etc. Anybody got any views on this?

i imagine a lot of people would be up for it but not sure as many people would be up for organising it. Good idea but a logistical nightmare?

Theoretically, not a bad idea at all.
However, not all 10,000odd members are regular visitors.
Also, we would have to ensure any 'draw' was done fairly, etc
But something to think about perhaps...

yer obviously it would take a lot more thought. But in principal i think it would be a good idea. I appreciate not all 10,000 members would enter or whatever, but i think enough money could be raised to fund a well modded car. Would £10k be enough to make a mag feature worthy car. Also could link it with one of the premium traders, doing the work through them would surely mean a nice discount, and a bit of extra exposure for them. Could get it part sponsored so less entry money would be needed. personally i think it would make a nice story for a mag to feature etc. And a nice project we could all feel apart of.

oh i c. well if you got enough sponsors involved including a mag then i think that you'd probably be able to do it. Even if the car doesn't end up being 'feature worthy', the story alone would get it in Fax Flower or Blueline. Maybe spend the money trying to make a really quick car rather than a car that looks nice?

yer could do. I think something completely radical and new, to symbolize the board. Duno quite what. Think it's definetaly a do-able idea.
