my avg has run out of date and now my whole system is under abuse, pop ups everywhere, virus warnings etc etc
whats the best and preferably free anti virus software?

Download Nod32 Antivirus from eset.com
You can get usernames/passwords from nod321.com (albeit chineese website, the usernames are on the front page).

avg cant download cus "its inffected"
new virus i have aquired wnt let me do anything (media player / msn etc) unl;ess i buy the anti virus software from the usa
annoying pop ups galore

yeah, works, free, run it at work and dont notice much of a slow down, at home I run ubuntu so no AV on there!
