Simple, Plain, White, Minimalistic etc all works... but your site is just vacant.

plus the lines on the sides hurt my eyes.

I don't mind the look, it looks a bit bare at the minute but filled out a bit I think it'd be fine and clean.

I'd just add that in firefox i think you get slightly less vertical viewing space than IE and Chrome, so at 1280x1024 I've got a small vertical slider that pointlessly scrolls a few pixels up / down.

I find the text on the front page very hard to read. Long lines of small text are hard to read along, hence for eg. newspapers using columns. Could you have two columns, text on the left and then a couple of images or a newsfeed of updates or something on the right?

rather than using exact sizes for the layout, use percentages instead. this means the page will look the same on all resolutions (size wise anyway).

with the tiled background make it a bit bigger, thus less lines and less painful on the eyes.

needs another colour to make certain text stand out IMO.

edit; 1st point example;

<hr width="950px" size='1' align='center'>

use something like this instead;

<hr width="80%" size='1' align='center'>

edit; making a banner to go along where infinityandbeyond text is (but to the right) would make it look pretty good, maybe a grayscale to fit with the whole black/white theme? haven't got photoshop installed so I can't give you an example sorry.

Appreciate the input guys. Im working on improving the logo, the picture banner idea is a good one and I might go with it. Cheers noshua I never thought of the percentage thing, just been working specifically to my browser. Il make the lines at side bigger aswell.

The work section not having that shadowed box thing is a massive improvement.

The black <HR> line goes all the way off the page and makes a scrollbar. Use percentages!

iframes suck. If your host supports PHP, simply use php include. Much better than iframes.

Is the photo gallery done via Photoshop Lightroom? Never used this piece of software before, but if so, can you simply upload a new photo to your website and it'll appear? Or is it a painful process of re-opening Lightroom and exporting the script again? If so I suggest looking at a simple script that will show all images in a directory, loads can be found on google (powered by PHP). If not, I may recommend this software to a 'client'.

Il work the percentages into it, ive got so many to sort out though im dreading facing it. How does the iframe suit your browser? Im not sure how PHP works? Whats the difference? It is done on lightroom yeah, I only assume you can upload pics easily using it, I havent got round to it yet though. Since the page in the iframe is directly exported from lightroom, its not so long winded to edit the gallery in lightroom and directly overwrite the gallery on my web space.

Im working on the logo, cant decide what I like just now.

like the name, iframes make a seperate frame on your page, if the page you're including exceeds the hight/length you specified (i.e. <iframe hight="200" width="200"> then it'll make scrollbars. as long as your page doesn't expand anymore, it'll be alright. all web browsers now-a-days handle iframes without a fuss anyway (i.e. not making them look ugly as fuck).

keep us updated
