My mom has a vax cleaner at home but I cant get it to work so is there any products I can buy from local shops like Halfords which will give the seats and door cards a good clean?

Turtle Wax interior valet spray is what I use.. Halfords sell it and normally have it on offer (3 for 2), its good stuff and smells pretty un-offensive.

Becareful with the steam cleaner as it can melt the fabric glue holding the fabric to the foam in the seats making them go all saggy

Never had it happen on vauxhall trim (as its pretty good quality) but managed to do it on an Impreza seat and a Cobra seat, but they are shitty quality

Steam cleaning if used more than couple of times will also start to deteriorate the fabrics fibres.
From off the shelf, the Megs interior cleaner in a pink bottle is pretty good, if not the foaming AG stuff isn't tooo bad.
Door cards though you just want to use something like some all purpose cleaner (weak) and spray a small amount of , scrub, then wipe off with a MF cloth and leave to dry.
The key is to not oversoak anything as it can cause more harm than good and leave watermarks.

This is the stuff you want to get from Hellfrauds.. Its the Shizznle for the money.
And daveys money saving tip: If there is a 3 for 2 offer buy 1 can with the brush and 2 without as you get more in the non-brush can
