My Sport is difficult to put into reverse, ive been told that the Linkage needs adjusted.
Is this a big job to do, parts etc.
Thanks.

It's an easy job.
Put the gearbox into neutral, get a mate to sit in the car holding the gearstick in neutral.
You get under and tighten up the linkage.
Get your mate to try all gears.
Repeat and adjust as necessary.

go under the car and loosen the 3mm bolt on the selector then theres a small plastic cap on the top of the gearbox, remove it and put the car in neutral using a small pin or alan key poke it in and you should find that by shaking the selector rod the pin will slide in and lock, one the box is locked go into the car and pull the gaitor off on the side of the slector on the outer casing you will notice a small hole in the plastic and on the actual slector theres another hole you bring the car over towards reverse and put another pin or allen key in that, once thats locked as well tighten up the 13mm bolt under the car
