It's was a publicity stunt to get everyone talking about top gear and the stig and that is exactly what it has done.

not sure if it was him but one of the stigs released it in their autobiography thus it was changed

Definitely but 6.5 seconds better than the gumpert which is basically a 'race car' as well, awesome! I was so suprised when it was schuey who'd be driving it

The FXX is a race car, an 860bhp factory ferrari race car to be exact. Its hardly going to be a slouch now is it?

An ultima GTR can do it in 1:12.8 and thats built in somebodys shed.

1:10 doesn't seem that fast for what is an out and out race car with a formula 1 driver using his own car when compared to that.

just found this on another forum

I know some one who knows who 1 of the 3 stigs is! Yep thats right - they use 3 of them!

The chap I know did tell me but i forgot his name - he only knows as he took his TVR - Mr Orange (the one used in the first series) along with Mr Blue - to a TVR mechanics team, and their official driver walked in, noticed the car and was on about how he had drove its partner Mr Blue whilst clarkson was in this one - cutting a long story short the only time it had been driven by Clarkson was on the show as my mate bought it from them. As the conversation went on - he explained that they use 3 different drivers depending on location and the car!

when shuey came on dressed as the stig and was stood there, i thought he looked a bit shorter then the normal stig
