well to start off with im not very good with picking cameras, as they look all the same to me, so hopefully with some of your opinions i will get a good one. The reason im looking for one now as im making a trip to nurbergring soon but going to visit different places on the way, and also for takin general shots, looking to spend around £100, can anybody help me?

I have a canon A590 think that was around £100 cant really remember tbh quite a good little camera, loads of settings you can fiddle with on there.

had a quick look for these cameras and there about the £130-150 mark, any other cameras i could have a look at?
plus im after something you dont have to replace the batterys all the time, something you can charge up instead

Not considered a SLR? You can get a 400D for about £190 2nd hand...

get to asda they have a decent one on special at £67 cant remember the make although i think its a sony

I've got a Nikon S210, Bang on for taking the odd pic, and cost almost exactly £100. About £97 last I looked. It has a rechargeable battery as well

I had a Fuji S5700 bridge camera before my DSLR which was great. Not slim like compact camera, but very good quality pictures at a nice resolution. That was about £115 when I bought it January '08. No idea on prices now though.

well i bought one today, went for the dsc-w180 and came out the shop with sony dsc-w215 and with 4GB memory stick
