I have a tap on the side of my house which id like to move along the wall 5ft to save me walking all the way around my railings and climbing through the hedges just to switch it on to water the garden
Ive never done anything with copper/water pipes EVER and wouldn’t know where to start, but it cant be that hard can it?

So in order for me to be able to do this, what will I need? Can anyone help me? Im guessing:

*Appropriate amount of copper pipe
*Some sort of bending tool
*Hacksaw
*some type of connections/couplings to come off the existing pipe and onto my new one
*wall fixings
*Soldering iron?
*some patience

Is it a pretty simple thing to do?

House day.

It is easy, a soldering iron won't do, you need a blow torch or just use compression instead of yorkies.

you wont solder it with an Iron, you will need a blow lamp, you could use compression fittings, they dont require soldering

but yeah its piss, just extend the pipe to where you want it

Surely there's a kit at homebase which would just screw on to the existing tap, with extension pipe you clip to the wall and a tap at the end? Wouldn't look the nicest, but probably the easiest answer?

If not there should be.

Probably not the greatest answer btw.

All you need is-
some compression fittings(whatever you need, straight or bends)
ptfe tape
hacksaw/pipe slice
some pipe clips
copper pipe(15mm)

Reuse you existing tap, just unscrew it from the wall, disconect from the water and refit.
