If they bring a new law in on tyres, they wont be able to inforce it on all cars, it will have to be on new cars otherwise every car on the road will have to change all tyres to meet the new requirements. and thats a lot of tyres!

They're just going to stop them being sold. So there'd gradually become fewer and fewer til no cars had them any more.

Of course, I guess you could still import tyres from outside the EU... Expensive though!

What a freaking joke.
What about the people who compete in motorsport? Where to they then purchase tyres from? And if theyre able to get them, they will obviously sell them on (illegally) at a huge margin.
Sounds to me like it wont work

It doesn't say they'll be made illegal, it's a reporter for a car magazine saying they probably will, while admitting no figures have been set

remember years ago when they said that the government were going to put a stop to people modifying their cars. well technically with the recession they have, but its not illegal

its reporters waffle. must be a slow week or something so try typing some scare tactics to get kids on internet sites to go in a panic.

Im suprised thier still selling higher octance fuel to reduce the number of high performance cars on the road

hense why the price of high octane fuel has gone silly of late?

i paid 111.9 yesterday for the fact of my car running on this nectar.
