What can i use to paint the spare wheel well? tried hammerite, but thats coming off 2mrw morning cos its making me feel crappy with the fumes.

I think quite a few use hammerite but you need to let it dry fully and keep airing it.

bugger that. i almost had to pull over on my way home 2nite. Makes me feel sick. so im gonna just splash paint stripper everywhere and get rid of it all, plus valet all the interior to get rid of the smell.

Just leave the boot and doors open for a few hours?

Stripper will smell too. And you can't beat hammerite, it's the shizzle!

you will just get fucked from the paint stripper fumes instead , just leave it to dry, it will eventually fully dry out with no smell.

i will get the sandpaper out in the morning, make the paint as thin as poss, and leave it to dry in the sun will doors and boot open. then hopefully after that i wont fell sick getting in the car!!

That will make it look shit, especially if its gloss paint. Best off just leaving it all open if possible to dry.

TBH, i dont reli care how it looks, as long as im not breathin in the fumes. ive got a false floor ready to go on top of it anyway, i just did it to kill off the rust!!
