Uncle had one that I used to ride on if we went to Wales or somethin like that. Pretty useless if you live in the city really IMO. Good fun tho.

Oh right. The one my uncle had wasn't road legal. Looked identical to that tho? Thought they had to have indicators and other bits and bobs?

I thought the rules applied to anything with a motor. I'll end up being told I'm wrong though, I'm sure.

Go peds, mini motos etc are all illegal to use unless they are road registered with valid tax and insurance.
If your like me though it wont stop you and you just go down the riverbanks and through the park to work on a 125 4 stroke mini mx bike... thats if you have the luxury of riverbanks and parks as an alternative route to work lol.

they arent road legal, you have to register them and insure them etc etc before you can use them on the road, and you cant use them on the paths either.
I have one when i was like 14/15 was just sitting on it pushing it back as the battery had died (yes mine was battery operated) and the police stopped me and told me it was illegal to have on the path and could only be used on the road if i got number plate/insurance/tax etc.
mine however did have indicators and lights so that was one good bit about it.

They've moved on!!! Check the framework...
Used to have one for Jetskiing down the coast. Far simpler though, just an old fashion scooter, engine at the back, and the brake pads clamped the tyres, not a disc
Great fun, but like mini motos, its been ruined by the neds and is illegal on the -paths now

Thought if they went under 20mph you didn't need all the insurance etc?
Not sure where I heard that though!

You can get electric go-peds too. I think that they're street legal...
