Courteney sell a Mantzel 270 cam, and a twin outlet manifold, and say it gives a 20 PS increase, which for my 1.2 is gonna improve it loads!
Anyone know if its just bullshit figures (id be surprised if it was being as its made by mantzel and sold by courteney), or know of anyone with the kit fitted?

I very much doubt you will get 20bhp out of the just a manifold and cam on a 1.2.
Total vauxhall did a bit on this engine and tuning a few months ago, but there figures are bullshit.
Doubt you have to uprate anything else, why not speak to courtenay.

Give courtenay a call, and just say...
"Look don't bullshit me! is this any good or what?"
they should give you the answer your looking for.... they got a pretty good rep for sorting people out.

would be very lumpy, doubt that the ecu would cope - ud be stalling at traffic lights.
some ppl suggest a PBV i aint so sure tho

I used to run a 270 piper cam and a lexmaul manifold on a 1.2 only good if you do a lot a of motorway driving
More like 10bhp If your lucky

That kits for the 8v not the 16v, and that the one im talking about. Its not a decat, just the flexijoint between the cat and manifold.
