I've been on the Arsenal Season ticket waiting list for 13 years. I got an email today offering me one for this season. I know for a fact the wife will say no way, and I will probably only get to a handful of games anyway due to work and living in NW. But if I don't take it I lose my place on waiting list!!!!
Gutted.

with my everton season ticket, if i can make any games and i know in advance then i can release my seat for that game and i get something like 60% of the ticket fee if my seat is sold, usually pointless at goodison because theres always seats but worked when i couldn't go the derby last season
maybe look into that, see if arsenal do a similar thing, would mean you would get a season ticket and not have to drop to bottom of waiting list and maybe make some of the money back off the ticket

Can you not just flog them to a mate or someone at a full or even inflated price? Or are the tickets not in that much demand

Yeah we have ticket exchange but It only comes into effect if game is sold out, which most are, but then you just get the money back at end of season againt next season ticket.
Also its £1200 outlay I'm talking about here too! Hence why the wife will say no!

Buy it in your name but get a mate who wants one to pay for it and use if for the season or until your circumstances change.

Do they not do a direct debit or summat? We have that at Hudders and some of our ST's are only £99

How the fuck can Arsenal justify £1200 for a season ticket when they rarely buy any 'big name' signings to challenge for the league?! Arsene Wenger just asked them for some extra money for transfers and they just said no, keep doing what your doing with the young guns Arsene. They must be the most tight fisted club on the planet!!
