Ok, I have been playing with my wiring behind my CD player to try and get my subwoofer to work...it works but the speakers don't any more.

They don't work whatsoever, unless the key is in the ignition, has been turned and the cd player face is in place...basically what happens then is as I'm turning the engine over by using the key...the speakers work for a fraction of a second, then stop again. The only time they come on is when I turn the key, they come on for a fraction of a second.

Any ideas? cheers

try unpluging your radio and then reconnecting it,

if no joy try it with a different radio (maybe a mates)

then you know if its the radio or the wiring and go from there

I've undone it about 50 times while trying to fix it.

I think it's the wiring but i can't be certain but I know the speakers are fine.

Just been to the garage, my wiring is correct.

Either I've blown a speaker (cus the head unit is pioneer, it cuts out to prevent it causing damage), my wiring has chauffed and caused a break, or my head unit is fucked.

so I can borrow a head unit to find out if it's my head unit, run some wiring direct from head unit to speaker to find out if it's wiring and...well that just leaves new speakers
