It's going to be released in about a couple of months. Because of the Microsoft vs Europe thing, we can't actually buy upgrades as such (so they say), only full versions - however Microsoft have said that until December they will make the full price the same as upgrade prices in the USA.

I'm just catching up after the weekend, it goes RTM today and it looks like it's on the torrent sites already.

Release to Manufacturing, means that it's final code and the version that you'll get if you buy it.
So even though it's not out for weeks the torrents that leak are the final thing.

as John said, this is typically what they'll be sending OEM companies such as Dell etc
Im already downloading, although I suspect theres no much difference between my 7100 build and the final 7600 RTM?
Not shipping IE to EU customers is a PITA.

The non IE ones are seperate versions, they only do that for a laugh basically because they know nobody buys them.
There was something about it recently and I can't remember if it was XP or vista, whatever one it was there was only about 100 copies sold anyway.
The regulators know it's a joke and aren't happy.

Windows 7E only in Europe.

Obviously you'd be able to install IE8 if you wanted to, but I'm not sure how you'd be able to actually download it except through Windows Update.

No, you can buy Windows7 with or without IE. Just like you could with XP...

From looking last night it doesn't look like you can.
XP was media player.
Microsoft have also said that the 7600 leak isn't RTM, and although they would say that anyway I think I'll wait before installing.
