Iv got divx 2.1 and it played three of the movies i downloaded, then when tryint to play the next two, it came up with this error......



Does anyone know what i got to do to play the movie? If not does anyone know of any other software to play .avi files??

I use DivxFix to sort out any corrupt movies, usually gets em going

Cheers guys.....

Tried the xvid site, but when i downloaded and unzipped it, it didn't give me anyhting to play the films on, just read me files and loads of junk that means nothing to me???? I tried downloading it again but the same thing happened.

think you need to right click one of the dll or inf files and click install

Yup, XVid is purely the codec, not a player.

sorry to sound a bit thick but what does that mean trotty?? And how do i get the video to play if it isn't a player??
