i was going 50mph in 4th and the engine light came on then went back of? it stuk at 50 and when the light went of it started to pick up speed? what could it be?. cheers

If the light comes on and goes off again within a few seconds, then nothing is wrong. This happened for a while on my engine but it's actually ok. I checked the owner's manual and it said what I put in the first sentence

It comes on occasionally in my 12v too and doesn't go off til I turn the ignition off but it doesn't affect the car in any way while its on so I don't worry about it.
