Not insomnia but I ain't been sleeping well the last couple of nights Awake at 7am on a sunday morning says it all

i work nights... sometimes i sleep but only like 4 hours in 3 days, its really starting to get to me, cause i look like death at the best of times, but it scares me that if i drive somwere and i fall asleep im a gonner!
and no frank not on speed, im not druggie, i'll leave it to them teenagers who think there 'cool' and 'phat'
ive been awake 38 hours now!

every time i lay in bed i just gaze into space.
even tried some crap ass classical tunes to chill me and some chill out dance. but noffin.
think im just gonna get some bb ammo and shoot myself to sleep!

I worked nights over xmas. Fucked me up quite bad, just felt really rough all the time and ended up missing uni exams. Nights are no good unless you are planning to do them long term and aren't bothered about having a life!

great life i have.
been working nights for 3 months, love it.
insomias been looming over me for 4 years and no doc in englands willing to help me.
all i get is "you'l get over it"
fuck i hate my life!

4 years mate... ive had 12 typres of medication, 1 brain scan, countless blood tests.
the drive did me no good. the car keys are in the kitchen and i cant go in there cause if i wake the dog i have to take him out back for a pee!
