Time to put my work car up for sale.
Peugeot 106 XND, 147k
1.5 Diesel.
3 door, green.
MOT - March 2010
Tax - End of January 2010.
Please do not be put off by the milage, reliable cars don't rack up high milages!
On a full tank (I can usually squeeze 43 litres in at a push), I get 550 miles.
I will leave the CD player in.
Since I have owned the car I have replaced the following:
Front and rear brakes
Full exhaust
Snapped cambelt at 124k, so re-conditioned head, new water pump (just did it while car was apart), new timing belt etc...
New radiator
New clutch
New gear linkage
New rear shock absorbers
New interior out of an XSi (in nice condition too)
205 GTi steering wheel
Passenger door mechanism
New alternator
New battery.
Bad points.
One of the CV's is clicky. (Not expensive to replace)
Gearbox slightly noisy, however a spare unit is supplied with the car.
Front tyres are a bit low on tread, again cheap as chips to replace, only 13".
Few battle scars as you would expect from a 14 year old car.
If you would like to go out in the car please come and see it before the 14th August, I'll be getting my new car then and I'll be swapping my insurance over.
